Understand, prevent and cure shin splints

Many athletes (runners, soccer players, etc.) experience pain in the shin. There are several types of injuries that can develop in this area as a result of the repeated strain of training or running. These are called Shin Splints or Stress Fractures or Chronic Compartment Syndrome. This paper describes the symptoms of Shin Splints, how to prevent and how to cure them.
