Remove ads in Firefox

I have a LiveJournal.com account and recently upgraded to their sponsored status from their free version. Since I did that they have added ads to my friends pages and on my site as well. I wanted to find a way to train
my browser to remove these elements and not have them be displayed on these pages.

Well I found a way and it's a Firefox extension named: Rip (Remove it Permanently). Rip allows you to specify which areas of a website you want to have ripped from the screen hiding it from your view.
It obviously does this all client side so the website you're on has no idea you are doing this.

Download RIP here: http://rip.mozdev.org/
