Great, but there is no way I could do that with a Sharpie pen. Should I start with a pencil? Do you have any techniques for how to hold the pen or how to brace your hand so the line goes where you want it to go. I love your videos but I think I need some help with basic technique. Do you have any suggestions?
Reply to #1: I personally enjo going staight to ink, or in this case, sharpie. If you feel the need to start with pencil, of course, begin that way, start with guide lines. The beautiful thing about sharpies is that they respond surprising well to pressure; press lightly, get a thin line, press hard, a bold one. Just practice a bit, and see how it reponds in your hand.
