How To: Quickly upload a screenshot to your website.

Educational Area: Science / Technology / Engineering | Rating: 5.50 of 10 | Views: 392

This tutorial explains how to take a screenshot using HardCopyPro and then use the send to command in windows to send the screen capture image to WinSCP for transfer to your website. Both myself and
Steven Klassen (of Xinu.org and GeekFit.com fame) use this method daily.

I assume you have a website, that your webserver supports the transfer method called SCP. SFTP is supported in WinSCP but you'll need to test it yourself, if it does work please leave a comment.

Tools used:

* HardCopy Pro Avail for less than $20 on their website.

o SSH/SCP access to webserver.(May work with SFTP as well)
(I'm hosted with Dreamhost which gives their users SSH and SCP access to their servers).
