How to find out if an egg is raw or cooked (just by spinning it)

The liquid (yolk and white) inside raw eggs doesn't spin (or stop spinning) as fast as the shell.If you've cooked a batch of hard-boiled eggs and put them in the fridge... then someone else has moved them... you can find out which are raw and which are cooked just by spinning them.
