Rachel in Trance X3 Awesome song!! I haven't heard it in ages. Why do nobody comment videos? Especially this one? I think you are an amazing artist. Great composition with the light and the colours (I have such a hard time with these). You seem to have a lot of experience with photoshop. Did you use a brush to make the lava? I think I learned a trick or two from this video. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest!

Thanks. I have a long way to go as an artist, but I am getting the hang of Photoshop. The lava was actually one of the very few instances where I used a layer style effect. I had an orange "stroke" and a yellow "outer glow". I then painted in black, and after I had a patch I cloned the rest. Thanks for the luck on the contest.

One of the advantages of photoshop over pencil and paper. You can draw with white just as easily as you can draw with black. If you draw on paper you get used to making highlights using negative space, but in photoshop you can simply press "x" and draw with white.
