Every Sunday and holiday, every week, the City of Bogotá, Colombia closes down over 70 miles of roadways to cars and let people bike, walk, talk, exercise, picnic, sunbathe, I could go on and on. Just watch the video, it's amazing.

Bogotá's Ciclovia is a really wonderful thing. Ex-Mayor Enrique Peñalosa, a cyclist, often says that the Ciclovia is the only time that Bogotanos of all classes and ages share an experience. It shouldn't be missed by any visitor with an interest in cycling or physical activity.
As the owner of a bicycle tour and rental business here in Bogota, Colombia, I've seen how much people enjoy the Ciclovia and what it contributes to the city's quality of life.
