    Sloppy, overrated and way past it. Check out some real metal guitarists - like Chris Broderick, Kiko Loureiro or even Christopher Amott. They all blow Kirk out of the water.

    Kirk Hammett.....the only member of Metallica that doesn't suck? Quite possibly! he seems pretty quiet, and goes about his business with efficiency and skill. definitely among the better guitar players, hearing him solo really gives you insight to his technical skill, which is better than i would've guessed.... probably the gagillion gigs he's played. nice!
