You're wrong. A few years ago, there was a huge stock of signal remotes for sale on eBay. Cities tried to sue and make them illegal, but the FCC stepped and said that they don't interfere with anything, and that they were perfectly legal. I don't know if this method works, but it's definitely not a felony to have one of those remotes.
If you believe this you're the dumbest mother-fucker in the book. Emergency vehicles have a special transmitter strobe. Why the hell would they make the receiver work with remote controls??? [Fire truck driver to firefighter next to him]: \"Hey, I think the strobe is broken. You don't happen to have a universal remote do you?\" \"Yeah, I always carry one, just in case!\"
There are indeed strobe sensors on stop lights, and emergency vehicles do have the ability to trip lights so that they turn green as they approach. Doing this if you are not an emergency vheicle is a felony. There are a few instances where people have done this (though not with a remote control, pretty sure thats boguss) and the courts have not looked kindly upon them.
anda chaval... que hoy no es el dia de los inocentes!!! a ver a cuantos pringaos les meten una multa, no por hablar por el movil, sino por ir conduciendo con el mando a distancia de la tele apuntando a los semaforos. pringaos todos!
Tired of stopping at red traffic lights? Wonder why police always gets the green light. Here is how you can switch any traffic light to green: with a universal remote control, like the one you use for your TV or hifi system!(more)(less)
yep, fake. see how emergency vehicle light doesn't go on on the traffic signal?
