Sure that there are many stupid people here with the "catalan thing", but that doesn't mean that everyone here is like this or that Catalunya dont worth it.
There is stupid people here, and there and everywhere.
However, I think Catalan is a beautiful lang to know...
I´m from Germany and I´ve been living in Bcn for 10 years. I´m really fed up with impolite pple from Catalonia. I came here speaking no Spanish at all, and I managed to learn it quickly, but many catalonian speakers insisted on speaking Catalan to me.
Even when they knew i didn´t speak Cat but i could understand Spanish.
I wouldn´t answer in Austro-Bavarian (dialect spoken in my region) if a foreigner comes to Germany to study German and to know the country.
PS: Advice to the foreigners; Don´t come to Catalonia, if you want to visit Spain I strongly recommend going to the South.
Catalan is a great language. I am sorry to see that some people are so uneducated that they can not see that. Thank you for putting this video up, it has helped a lot.

It would be great if you could do a lesson a day. It would really help me. I need to practice listening to improve. Start basic and work from there.
