    tsk tsk tsk ... very poor technique! .. you never pour the liquor over the ice in the metal part of the shaker - it should be in the glass part with the ice seperate in the metal. . And when you shake, you should rock the shaker forward and backward to chill the ingredients completely - never shake up and down! Would love to see how you make a martini cocktail - the ultimate test of a professional mixologist!
