Remove ads in Firefox
I have a LiveJournal.com account and recently upgraded to their sponsored status from their free version. Since I did that they have added ads to my friends pages and on my site as well. I wanted to find a way to train my browser to remove these elements and not have them be displayed on these pages. Well I found a way and it's a Firefox extension named: Rip (Remove it Permanently). Rip allows you to specify which areas of a website you want to have ripped from the screen hiding it from your view.
