Public Web Classroom

Welcome! Here you can learn or teach one or many students live for free.

  • Teaching: To conduct a live web class as a teacher, follow these steps:

    1. Select a Web Classroom from below with the status “Open!”
    2. Invite up to 4 students by emailing them the URL of your selected Classroom.
    3. Select the role of "Teacher" and click "Continue" to enter the Classroom.

  • Learning: To participate in a live web class as a student, follow these steps:

    1. Click on any Web Classroom with the status: “Class in Progress.”.
    2. Select the role of "Student" and click "Continue" to enter the Classroom.

    Important: Teachers need a webcam and microphone. Students only need these if they want to be seen and heard. See requirements.

    The better the webcam, the better the web classroom experience! Sclipo recommends these webcams.

Web Classrooms

    1. Use the Web Classroom only for teaching. You can teach about anything that is legal as specified in our Terms of Use.
    2. The public Web Classroom has limited functionality compared the private one:
      - 1 teacher and 4 students per room
      - 30 minutes session length
      - Public access (any Sclipo member can attend and teach a class)
    3. For the private Web Classroom with full functionality, upgrade to Premium Live member. Premium features include:
      - Restrict attendance to your students.
      - Charge your students.
      - Teach unlimited number of class sessions of any length.
      - Present documents during the class.
